As I was finishing up at college, a friend of mine asked me to come down to Australia after school to be the best man in his wedding. After happily accepting, I realized I really had no plans on my plate for my future and looked into getting a work visa for the land of OZ.

After the wedding in Newcastle, NSW, I landed a job to re-do the web site for Peach Advertizing (which has since been re-done again). As that wrapped up, I managed to dig up a job at Australian Geographic, something I had my sights on once I found out it even existed.
